Coming back here, I think 'Oh, someday, I'll go home and never get to experience this weather again.' and I feel a little sad.
Then I step out of the shower in the morning and instantly feel the difference and think 'Meryl, you must be crazy!'.
It doesn't matter how many times I'm here or how many years I stay, I will never get used to or appreciate this weather. It might all look prettier than the iles and iles of sand dunes at home, but I'll take my desert over a deep freeze any day. Sure, the nights are cold, but it never feels like this.
At least, this time, I've been prepared for it! I feel sorry for everyone that's new this year and from a hot climate like I am. Stock up on cold medicine, for your own good!
