Coming back here, I think 'Oh, someday, I'll go home and never get to experience this weather again.' and I feel a little sad.

Then I step out of the shower in the morning and instantly feel the difference and think 'Meryl, you must be crazy!'.

It doesn't matter how many times I'm here or how many years I stay, I will never get used to or appreciate this weather. It might all look prettier than the iles and iles of sand dunes at home, but I'll take my desert over a deep freeze any day. Sure, the nights are cold, but it never feels like this.

At least, this time, I've been prepared for it! I feel sorry for everyone that's new this year and from a hot climate like I am. Stock up on cold medicine, for your own good!

Never. Precipitation is very rare as it is. And it is hot, but that's what I was raised experiencing.

Huh. And it's like that all year? We get really cold and really hot weather back where I live.

No way! This weather is much better than the dessert! You can't ball up sand into snowballs or make sandmen out of it! You just gotta loosen up a little bit more, insurance girl!

No. In the desert, I don't catch colds or fall because it's slippery or have ice end up in my shoes every time I go outside. And I definitely don't feel like I'm going to freeze to death! The desert's only bad when I don't have water or have to chase your sorry butt around for days and days!

Yeah, but stand gets in everywhere and then it gets soooo itchy! And it's so hot! Get cold you can put on coats and blankets! Just add more and more! But in the heat? Ugh. There's no relief!
